Terms and Conditions of Sale — Book “Pobudzona”

1. General Information

These terms and conditions define the rules for selling the book “Pobudzona”, authored by Sylwia Piskulska, sold by the author as a private individual, under the rules for selling copies of her own work. Sales are conducted exclusively through the website https://pobudzona.antayastory.com.

2. Subject of Sale

The subject of sale is the physical book “Pobudzona”, written by Sylwia Piskulska.

3. Payment Methods

Payments are made online via Stripe, which supports BLIK, payment cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other methods available in Stripe in Poland.

4. Order Processing

Once payment is confirmed, the order will be prepared and shipped within a maximum of 2 business days. The book will be sent to the parcel locker selected by the Buyer when placing the order.

5. Proof of Purchase and VAT

The sale of the book “Pobudzona” is carried out by Sylwia Piskulska as a private individual, the author of the work, as the sale of copies of her own creation within the meaning of Article 15(3)(3) of the Polish VAT Act of 11 March 2004 (Journal of Laws 2004 No. 54, item 535, as amended).

As such, this sale does not constitute a business activity within the meaning of the VAT Act, is not subject to VAT registration, and is exempt from the obligation to use a cash register (pursuant to §3(1)(1) of the Regulation of the Minister of Finance of 28 December 2018 on exemptions from the obligation to keep records using cash registers – Journal of Laws 2018, item 2519).

The seller does not issue fiscal receipts or VAT invoices. Upon the buyer’s request, a written or electronic proof of purchase may be provided.

6. Withdrawal and Returns

In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act, the Buyer who is a consumer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days from receipt of the shipment, without providing any reason.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Buyer must send an email to moc.yrotsayatnaobfsctd-7eb72c@rotua within 14 days of receiving the book, informing about the withdrawal, and return the book in its original, undamaged condition with no signs of use to the following parcel locker:

The cost of returning the shipment is borne by the Buyer. Once the returned item is received and its condition positively verified, the payment will be refunded via Stripe using the same payment method, within 7 days from the date the return shipment is received.

7. Complaints

In case of damage during transport or receipt of a defective copy, please contact us via email at moc.yrotsayatnaobfsctd-170a49@rotua. Complaints will be processed within 14 days.

8. Personal Data Protection

The personal data provided by the Buyer is processed solely for the purpose of fulfilling the order. The data controller is Sylwia Piskulska. The Buyer has the right to access, correct, and request the deletion of their personal data.

9. Final Provisions

These terms and conditions are effective from the date of publication on the website and may be updated. Contracts concluded before any changes are subject to the version in force at the time of order placement.
